Changing The BAC Limit

The New York Times recently reported that the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board)  made an official recommendation for all states to lower the legal alcohol driving limit to a .05 blood alcohol concentration (BAC). Currently, the blood alcohol legal level in California is .08.

We feel that if California lowers its legal limit for the state, it would be a mistake. There is already a generally accepted .02 margin of error in Breath tests. This would lead to a large increase in the number of false positives. It would make it far easier to be prosecuted unjustly for a DUI.
