Barry Bonds

Barry Bonds has been one of the more controversial figures in the history of baseball. Even so, he is one of the most successful players in the sport’s history. He was born in Riverside in Riverside County and attended Serra High School in San Mateo before moving out of state to study at Arizona State University. He played professional baseball for more than twenty years and holds the records for most home runs in a season and most home runs hit in one’s career.

Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey was one of the first major female mixed martial arts stars as she was a prominent contender who once held a major Ultimate Fighting Championship title. She was born in Riverside County and studied martial arts as she was growing up. She eventually earned her black belt in judo and went on to be a prominent international judo contender. But it was her competition in mixed martial arts that made her into a huge star.

Cameron Crowe

Prominent filmmaker Cameron Crowe was born in Riverside County California in the city of Palm Springs and grew up in the city before moving to San Diego. Reggie Miller

He went to Cathedral City High School and trained in boxing during his school days. He competed as a professional boxer from 2004 to 2016 and had five world championships during his career. He only lost two fights in his career. His three fights against fellow boxing legend Manny Pacquiao are considered to be among the best fights in modern boxing history.
