ARE THE COURTS OPEN? 

The Southern California Courts are still open, but most court appearances for anyone out of custody on bond are being rescheduled until after May 15, 2020. The courts are in the process of implementing technology to conduct video and/or remote proceedings in accordance with California Governor Gavin Newsom’s executive order that every person in California shall avoid social gatherings in groups.

It is important to note that most judges and court staff can be reached remotely by telephone and email if an essential need arises regarding your particular case to have your case RESOLVED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
